  • Working Under Preasure, in the food industry there isn’t a lot of down time and I learnt how to do my duties incredibly fast yet accurately.
  • Dishwashing, I have used a number of different types of industrial dishwashers, one being a 3 person dishwasher where I have had experience in all roles clearing trays and plates, rinsing dishes, stacking dishing and returning clean dishes.
  • General Cleaning, kitchens can get very messy quickly and one of my duties would be keeping the countertops, equiptment, cafeteria and floors clean and sanitised.

  • Working Under Preasure, in a smaller kitchen there was some down time, giving me the opportunity to learn from the chef I was assistinging however it was still a fast paced job which means I learnt how to do my duties incredibly fast yet accurately.
  • Dishwashing, unlike the larger kitchen, dishwashing was done in a more compact setting using a smaller industrial dishwasher.
  • General Cleaning, kitchens can get very messy quickly and one of my duties would be keeping the countertops, equiptment, cafeteria and floors clean and sanitised. 
  • Working Independantly, as the only catering assistant once the chef finished I had full responsibility for the kitchen, ensuring patients food needs were met and locking up before finishing the shift.
